Elijah Ary - Meditation - Gestalt psychotherapy

I’ve been teaching meditation to groups and individuals for quit some time. I have been practising for over forty-five years, having received formal training and teachings since my childhood from various renowned Tibetan Lamas, such as Kalu Rinpoche, Bokar Rinpoche, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

I am also a therapist and teacher in Gestalt therapy. I have a calm and caring presence, and a great ability to listen that combines empathy and insight.

Do you want to feel more at peace?

Meditation workshops

My meditation workshops are inspired by a traditional Buddhist meditation method called Calm Abiding (Shamatha in Sanskrit or Shinay in Tibetan).

The main principle of this method is to rediscover our natural tranquility by calming our mental (over)activity.

My teaching style combines theory and practice, with simple exercises to help stop exhausting ourselves by following every thought that comes into our minds. Through practice, you can regain lasting stability, tranquillity and well-being in all aspects of your life.

Gestalt psychotherapy

Founded by Fritz Perls in the 1950’s, Gestalt therapy is a relational and systemic approach to psychotherapy. It takes into account each human being in every aspect of their life, gradually accompanying them towards real and profound transformation. It is a highly effective therapeutic approach that provides powerful tools for deepening self-knowledge, rediscovering meaning, and regaining agency in one’s own life.
